Thank You, Driver: Poem

 Thank You, Driver!

Over the mountains,

Over the plains,

Over the rivers,

Here come the trains

Caring passengers,

Caring mail,

Bringing their loads,

Without any fail.

Tickets, please! Tickets, please! -

Has everyone paid for fare?

Tickets, please! Tickets, please! -

This train is full. Now, please, take care.

Tickets, please! Tickets, please! -

Does anybody want to stop?

This train is full, no room to hop.

Stop a minute! Stop a minute, little red train!

We would like to ride with you!

Please do wait for us to ride with you!

Come along, come along! No need for any fuss.

Is there anybody else to ride along with us?

Thank you, thank you, driver,

From one of each the happy rider!

There is room for all of us,

At once!
