Determination and Perseverance is the Key to Success: Essay

Celebrating the Career and Technology Education (CTE) in February of 2021 is very different from the February of 2020. Here, at the Florida National University, we are offering sixty-one academic programs and seven graduate certificates. The 2020 year gave us lemons, and we learned to make from them sweet lemonade. Not by choice, by following the CDC rules and regulations in Higher Education, our students switched to the Online division, and life did not stop. The technology, and the career quest both continued, but on the different level that provides social distancing and makes everybody safe – students, faculty, and academic staff. The University’s life did not stop. The physical buildings and campuses were opened, but with limited staff and with limited hours; many staff members are still working from home. It is difficult for young parents with children, who cannot attend school and stocked at home. The most important, there are solutions and help.

In February 2021, the University is flexible by helping students both on campus and online; the hybrid courses are a necessity. In 2021, the technology supports career education. The Virtual Library of electronic databases is a savior for the distance learning. The eResources and eServices meant to provide choices, but ended up to provide the vital educational line in the emergency situation.

Healthcare crises, did not stop higher education. It continues to keep the door open for the future career opportunities and is preparing the young generation to be the leaders of tomorrow.
