Pancakes Idea

Creamy ricotta in the batter

delivers both fluff and richness

to these silver dollar pancakes

flecked with fresh berries and slathered

in salted maple butter.

Keep them small in size and

cook them low and slow.

So, they stay light and tender

as they cook through.

sPark Memories

As we're celebrating the National Parks week,

we're creating the long-lasting memories of the

American outdoors. People say,

"If we do not take care of our nature,

the nature will take care of us!"

April 23 is the Great Sir Shakespeare's Birthday

This is a fact: William Shakespeare was born and passed away

on the same day of the April 23.

In April, we are celebrating the National Poets Month.

The feeling of time is disappearing when you read Shakespeare.

His epic poetry shapes our minds,

and the way we see the

unfolding around us.

The calendar does not show anymore the March 20, 2020.

We are in April of 2022.

The cities celebrate this day with parades and Renaissance festivals.

Reading wisdom of classics shapes both

the sound of words and images,

mixed of metaphors and smiles.

PPE for the Soul

Reading poetry continues to be a comfort to a soul.

Sometimes, history facts and events, testimonies

only could be found in poems.

Maya Angelou expressed her sympathy to wounded souls

by saying loud her iconic phrase:

"I know why the caged bird sings."

Poetry celebration extended to celebrate

many documentaries, aspirational,

and necessary contributions to the culture.

"April is the cruellest month, breeding

Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing

Memory and desire, stirring

Dull roots with spring rain.

Winter kept us warm, covering

Earth in forgetful snow, feeding

A little life with dried tubers."

(T. E. Eliot Foundation, 2022

from the "Wast Land" and other poems)

To Govern

To govern, as a wise men said,

is to choose.

We cannot escape history.

We cannot escape choice.

The choice is charged with

responsibility for

safety and welfare.
