Librarian Poem

LIBRARIAN POEM
We started to use less ink
When things started to think.
The modern digital revolution
Is the continuation of the computer evolution.
As we are researching for any trivia,
We worship in the multimedia
With admiration and affection.
Many technical deals are based on
Networking operation,
Organizational administration, and education.
There is an impact on servers and clients
To move on.
There is an impact on
Hardware and software concepts.
The Internet and Intranet services
In technical education of masses
Survived with technical education, the IT supports,
And easy access.
Digital
Versus non-digital,
Ask-a-Librarian online
And offline,
Anywhere , and anytime.
Please, do not forget, books are the best gifts
For people of all ages.
Books are unique source if ideas.
Imagination expands far beyond the pages.
Ida Tomshinsky, 2007

Ida, I loved this poem, I always wonder how all things have evolved and the impact it has on older methods of information. Retrieving, receiving, ingesting, processing and retaining information.
Best, E.D.
