Unpaid Therapist: Poem
I fix broken people as an emotional EMT
But not everyone can save Miss T[ee.]
I offer support as my vision
Not full body rescue mission.
Brings some reward.
I react with a spark
Not the crutch
To light fire under the butt –
It is not too much!
I am not your unpaid therapist.
Codependency and empowerment
Both are attractive developments.
Starts foretelling to have a blast
With family and friends that last.
Moderation and balance are key:
Delighted, precious –
You need adjustments to make to be,
To match other people’s energy
To be free,
And take care of me.
