Global Anthem

Building a whimsical world

Let’s find words

To describe the global anthem.

Let’s find magic in ordinary

With words that understood globally –

Gentle, lyrical,

Filled with blander and wonder

Like sunlight on paper.

Let’s celebrate the global anthem

Made of the comfort edge

That makes gleam’s

And thoughtful silence’s

Inner pledge.

We need the dawn, renewal

And gratitude

Not attitude

Through creative mind wanders

Filled with wonders

And gifted authors,

When surrounded by writers

Of books and poems, and dreamers.

Also, musicians, painters

And talented masters

Of various bards and arts

Creating the global anthem

Like a national hymn

For you, me, and them.
