Language
Like People
Language
is like people. People like language because people like words. The most beautiful
are the simple and sincere ones. Simple and sincere words are considered
beautiful, and so are the people who are genuine and authentic in their
interactions and relationships. Simple beautiful words imply beauty in people,
like the language they speak. Words of honesty and lack of pretense are rare
like people who speak the language of truth.
I
hear the voices that disagree. Not everyone thinks that communication and truth
are at the top of the list. What about intellect and common interests? Language
is the key to beautiful love and self-expression of emotions. Any words are a gift
in spoken verbal, written, and even unspoken forms. For me, poetry invites
people to look at the world throughout my words and truth because language is
like people.
We
have carefully to select the right words, small words and large words, kind
words and ugly words both change your world. Words and desire to find the truth
leads to conversation, dialogues of exchange of words. When we are sharing our
thoughts, our desires, and our fears, we are building trust between the people,
far and near. Words have power. Words open hearts, tears and smiles.
Deep
conversations could lead to acceptance, and even intimacy. Both love and patience
are expressions of manifestation because true words always find the way to
human hearts. Words help understand people’s needs and wants. People are a
mirror reflection of their language.
I
hear the voice of my sister who lost the best friend to talk to. I hear the
voice of a man who is a widower and found unconditional love language in his
devoted pet. In the age of artificial digital communication, truth hides in texts.
Words become the compass that leads you to navigate on your journey.
Beautiful
people create amazing information literacy. English language literature, classic
and contemporary both are more than a popular trend. Reading connects people
and opens doors to discover the world and live the lives of the main characters
through your own eyes. Visual literacy equally important as data, facts, and
information literacy in the age of fake news and artificial intelligence that
are taking over the world.
Language
like people. Linguistics is a study of Philology that collectively keeps the
language alive. The Modern Language Association (MLA) leads contemporary
language development. But it was not always like this.
In the 1700s, teens were accused of being… addicted to
novels. Not alcohol. Not gambling. Reading. Across Europe, a strange fear
gripped adults. Young people were devouring novels at a pace never seen before.
They read at the dinner table, in bed, even while walking through the streets. This
wasn’t seen as a harmless hobby. It was called “reading fever” or “book
addiction.” Some claimed it would ruin their minds.
Language like people. We are surrounded by people who use
words, speak one or more languages, and words matter as well is matters what
and how people say the words. When I say, ‘a word, a word, my kingdom for a
word,’ what I really say is that I am lonely, the first time in my life alone,
and miss the real human voice, a word or two. My words became memories. Thanks God,
there are books to read, loud TV, and beautiful lyrics of endless songs.
Accumulated real-life stories lead the language, human tung, and the mind
alive. Cheers to you, all good people who like the words like I do!
