Stories, Not Things: Essay

 Stories, Not Things: Essay

Storyteller whispered in my ear, “Fill your life with experience and confidence, not just with things.” My mother’s wisdom helps to make the positive decision, “Have stories to tell, not just stuff to show.”
In life, it is important to focus on what really matters such as life lessons, journeys, happiness and joy, and memories that we treasure and preserve in the stories. Do not forget some mysteries as mysterious stories are more interesting; the same is humor, to be funny in writing stories is both a gift and a talent.
‘Pretty things' in real life stories could be both captivating and challenging. A mix of admiration and complexity b and rings sassiness, boldness, and even disturbance, and reflects how beauty is not just at surface level but layered with meaning. For example, comparison to morning coffee and lovely views shows appreciation can be both comforting and inspiring. These stories become thoughtful reflection on how we engage with the world around us.
People say stories could be twisted, and only memories always stay with us. It is true, my heart aches every memory, every moment of joy, or tears I shed.
The stories are different. They are based on memories that will let into the depth of soul, just do not forget to wipe your feet at the door. Come in, get cozy, and read the stories!
Honestly, everything has a story. It could be a short story as small as a smile from a stranger, an excited nudge from an animal, words from a writer, the captured lyrics from a song, a story from an observant friend. It could be a detail-oriented long story to tell from the past. Next time when someone asks you how your day was, remember that you have a tiny story to tell. We share with people who care about and are ready to listen.
