Trees
Being challenged in life
Is inevitable and predictable.
Trees are unexpectable
And not apologetic.
Trees are not for decorations.
Trees are our teachers and protectors.
Trees are warriors.
They battle weather and storms,
And continue to grow
Under and over
Concrete, dirt, and soil.
Trees teach tremendous resilience,
Even connection
As each branch supports
And embraces amazing energy
At any emergency.
Do not worship the trees,
Trees are just trees,
No more, or less.
Trees are not decorations
They need human protection
And even preservation,
Conservation,
All the salvation.
Being challenged
In life inevitable,
Being defeated
Is optional.
