Great Outdoors: Poem
It was one of these days
That called us outdoors.
The great outdoors
Sometimes beckons
Why not join the kids
On the slide that leads
Straight to the puddle of mud
Out of pure fun?
Go for the run
With the spouse!
Go outside, and surprise!
Nobody wants to be stuck indoors
Behind the locked doors.
What if it is raining
Because of the heavens,
There is something called ‘creating.’
Go to the movie,
It is always a plan B-see
You will see
And think you are outdoors,
Even when you bind another door.
I open my eyes, therefore,
I was not dreaming anymore.
I had fun in my sleep.
When I run in my dream
To you, my hon, like before.
