Silver Line: Poem

Silver Line

I.

Every cloud has a silver line. –

Please be careful online!

Salt and sugar look the same.

Watch who you trust.

You text, if you must…

Between said and meant

Most of the story is lost

Because of the trust.

It is a difficult craft!

II.

My arms are reaching out

For a hand and sensitive heart.

I laugh, I laugh and have fun.

I wait for what you say,

If I may, this May.

I know, I will smile

Since Monday, every day.

What I say,

Every sunlight is brighter.

Every bird chirps louder

And the grass looks green

Like it has never been seen.

I passed the silver line

To feel divine.
