Walk Alone: Poem
Some walks we must take alone
Because we all belong
To somebody and to something.
We cannot stop.
We must walk the walk.
I am a woman, and I talk.
I am on the road to walk,
All alone and very broke.
My heart could be strong like a rock,
I wish it would be true.
I do not jump from a parachute. –
Okay, you are on the road.
Where is your destination
To stay on the road?
All alone, all alone
With your determination? –
Many good people got along.
What I know for sure
That sun never seems bright enough.
Does not matter if the life
And the roads are rough,
Also, the lonely days are tough
At all times, most of the time
Because I smile, I smile
Every mile, every mile,
And refuse and deny the little cry.
