Winter Season Pause: Poem

Winter Season Pause

Winter season is not coming to an end.

Moreover, a quite time before

The new beginnings

And new meanings.

It is a pause before spring.

It is a time when warm tea

Stays longer.

It is not the season ending.

It is time of reflection, peace,

And gratitude for finding out

When birds sing after the snowstorm,

People feel thrilled

That whatever sunlight remains

Feels delighted.

Suspended Leaf: Poem

 Suspended Leaf: Poem

Autumn leaf suspended

On the spider tread

Seen recently.

Joro Spider with leaf suspended

In the web, conveniently

Seen few days ago.

It will not grow

Again, until spring

Like the farm farrow

Left few days ago

To develop and grow

Until spring.

Suspended leaf reminds

That sometimes we lose.

Other times, we gain to rise.

Bravery: Poem

 Bravery

Never underestimate

The beauty of the sunrise.

The new morning is a surprise.

The new day will be wise.

Be careful what you state.

Everybody has a full plate.

Let the past go and wait.

Future captures the essence

Of being present,

With substance.

Do not be absent!

Pick up the phone first.

Tell the truth, reverse

Or laugh with tears,

Without any fears.

Brave is brave.

Train Station: Poem

 Train Station: Poem

I.

Ordinary train stations –

Tickets and schedules

To any routes and destinations.

People who choose

A railway train station

Has a nostalgic description.

II.

Here she stands

To say last goodbyes.

Her eyes are focused on large clock.

Tick-tock, tick-tock.

Time always flies.

She will be alone

Waiting for a call-phone

For a letter written to home.

She does not say a word,

O’ Lord!

She knows to be alone,

Could be an unknown.

But the mind does not go along.

Her thoughts belong

To the century old train station:

People who go and people who stay.

People who wave

And people who move on.

III.

The last word spoken.

The final strong snug-hug,

And air kisses exchanged in the air.

Memories will hunt

The train station in the dream.

Perhaps it was a tear or few

But both me and you

Are strong like a folklore song.

The lifelong melody is in the backbone

In the arms of the old home

Where you had been born.

Two: Poem

 Two: Poem

Two means a few,

A couple, an equivalent

Of the sum of two ones

Like two socks.

Two always a few

Like a duplicate

Of two identical ones,

Like two matching hearts.

Two is a pair

Of two twinned pears.

Two is a coordinated number

A symbol of two people

Or things like a couple that is outnumber.

Two may be separated

Into parts and halves

Like two matching gloves.

When you put together two hearts,

You reach out to obvious conclusion

Those two stands for love.

Number two in various contests

Recognized like a single number

In arithmetic to cultural idioms.

Number two is a minimum for counting –

We have two colorful mittens,

And two adorable kittens.

I have two hands,

A left and a right,

To hold and to work.

Two mittens, two gloves,

And two people who someone loves.

Sometimes on becomes two

And we forget how to be alone,

Drifted apart

At a dark night.

"Ber" Months: Poem

 “Ber” Months

September is early Fall.

Bright October is stunning for all.

November is an old sister and cold.

December days dressed in winter attire,

Which we admire

Ay home with ember of fire

To keep us warm.

“Ber” months come in various form.

Days are shorter

And I keep my quarter

For good luck

To save a buck.

November never comes in two.

We play with clocks

And move the time

Like dirty socks.

People make rules –

Some we need as tools,

Others are for the fools.

December is different from November.

In December, we try to remember

The past calendar year.

Cold December sparks fire’s embarrassment

Without regrets and fairness

Because the new calendar year

Is at the door.

There are new plans, better than before.

No Rewinds: Poem

 No Rewinds

Life is too short.

Time is too fast.

No rewinds,

And there are no refunds.

So, I live and love.

Enjoy every moment

As it comes:

Pastels of springs,

Beautiful green realism of summers,

Golden brightness of fall,

And purity of white

On the magical winter ride.

Something burning

Inside me

Like an agony

To carry on an untold story.

It better would not be boring,

Just write and get glory.

Life is too short.

Time is too fast.
