Some Memories: Poem

Some Memories

I.

Some memories

Never leave your bones.

Like the salt in the sea

They become a part of you

And you carry them in a shoe.

Memories walk with you

And come out of the hue.

Memories create new

Poems to tell new

Stories for you.

II.

Memories are on my mind

When I try to find

A context spark

That will leave a mark

In the new book

That has my look

On life, my thoughts and feelings

Stitched from memories

From me to you, out of the blue.
