Winter Trees at Night: Poem

 Winter Trees at Night

Winter trees at night

Meet the Moonlight.

Quiet, tall, and naked,

Without leaves but awakened.

No shoes,

Just naked roots.

Nowhere to go.

The Moonlight sees it all.

A liquid, shine Moon

Moves gently,

Among long branches.

Do they dream of spring tales,

To come very soon,

With dances and romances?

Winter trees at night

Met the Moonlight.

They do not fight.

They are frozen under the bright

Moonlight.
