Fearless: Poem

Fearless

I.

The entire world

Is like a narrow bridge

When we walk on it

Important to remember

Not to do it with fear.

Faith is stronger than fear.

Love is stronger than hate.

Dark was loud

But love remains to remember.

II.

Storms arrive without warning.

Experienced driver

Leaves extra space

For less predictable race

To feel less intimidating

And changing weather respecting.

Do not text and race!

Keep a calm pace!

III.

I’m glad, I’m not a fish!

I am on a leash…

Afternoon storms are daily events

Fishing is the main activity

At the open wetland.

Superpower is stronger than fear.

Are you ready to dive? –

Are you ready to arrive? –

The dark is loud

But love remains to remember.

Florida Crane: Poem

 Florida Crane

Florida Crane is stretched out tall,

Long-legged beautiful bird.

It lives in Florida’s wetlands

Where is abundance of seafoods.

Gray feathers and reddish patch

On its head

Stands out at open grassland.

Granes are known for graceful necks

Their loud calls,

And strong family bonds.

On the menu are seeds and plants,

Insects and small animals’ meats.

I heard the whispered cultural myth

For storks and cranes.

They deliver babies too.

Not fumble but humble

Like ample sweet pie.

Never say bye

To storks and cranes. – They will be back

To announce arrival

Of new revival.

Environmental Voices: Poem

Environmental Voices

I.

The most beautiful music

Is the kind nature has been playing.

There is summer rain on leaves,

And a creek over stones.

Laugh of two Rosie Spoonbills

At sunset telling funny jokes.

Music of playful wind,

Dancing through tall grass,

And the distance owl that oohs for us.

Crickets’ songs on dark nights

Are the best voices at twilights.

Let’s celebrate Earth sounds

That does not come from speakers

But birds before sunrise.

Our Earth is blessed by songs

That nature always echoes.

II.

Nature full of hidden voices.

A river flowing over stones.

Birds greeting the forest with gentle songs.

Rain falling softly during storms.

Ocean waves meeting the store

Beneath the playful wind,

And leaves rustling high in the woodland canopy.

Each sound tells a different story.

Some soothe the heart,

Others clear the tired mind.

Environmental sound wakes up and keeps

The feeling we forgot was there to exist.

Let nature lead

Throughout its changing music rhymes.

Follow the creeks,

Wander green forests

For a few joyful moments.

Stay and listen to buzzing bees

And rest beneath the trees.

III.

Notice how noise of the world

Soften your heart.

With nature’s musical art.

Let the Earth bring a little more peace

Into your summer Sunday day breeze.

Summer Rain: Poem

 Summer Rain

I.

Can you smell the rain? –

Yes. Also, I can feel the clouds at times.

Rain hits dry soils

And it releases plant oils.

The odor spreads faster

When the rain is moving.

My arthritis sure feels it observing.

I can tell you that it is going to rain

By the sound of the cloudy train.

I can smell the rain before it starts

At environmental health times.

II.

You smell the Earth and rain.

You smell what clouds are cooking.

Splits of O2 into O3 have musty smell,

A form of nature’s warning.

Birds fly low,

Crickets feel air pressure to go.

Summer rain brings freshness and purity.

Smell brings a vision and memory.

Smell vibes the emotional brain

When the clouds are dark and puffy,

There is no detour for the summer rain.

I can tell you that it is going to rain

By the sound of the cloudy train.

Cherry and Mary: Poem

Cherry and Mary

The cherries have ripened.

My love for Mary deepens.

Red cherry for my sweet Mary. –

Why are you carry? –

I love my sweet Mary.

My love has ripened

My heart opened.

Sometimes, life gives you

A split second of beauty

The heart and eyes can hold onto.

Yabbadabbadoo!

You know what a poem can do

Because there is no end.

The single heart keeps open.

A Little Gossip: Poem

A Little Gossip

Her lips always move

When music and lyrics groove.

This woman can write and talk

Even after clock.

She believes her heart can see,

And there is no charge or fee.

Usually, it is difficult to believe the eyes.

Only this woman can emphasize

 And recognize,

If you trust anyone with your guts.

It is absolutely nuts!

Some people have natural smarts.

Others are good with Psychology arts,

Haughty in manners

That irritates colleagues.

Enthusiastic Kid: Poem

Enthusiastic Kid

God bless, save, and protect

The enthusiastic baby

In antique body.

C’mon, sweet baby!

Keep on with your childish curiosity.

You are amazing with your generosity.

You always are optimistic,

Energetic and enthusiastic.

My baby is supportive

And always adaptive.

Love is a burning thing

And requires a ring.

Cling, cling, cling

To the enthusiastic kid!

Unimportant Day: Poem

Unimportant Day

I read this quote.

I wrote down this thought.

Here is my note. –

What is the unimportant day? –

A day without plan and plot,

When everything is at your throat.

For me, every day is a generator,

An open possibility

To create something greater

That cannot wait for later.

For sure, every day is meaningful.

It could be simple and cheerful.

It could be fearful.

It is up to humans to make it strategical.

There are no unimportant days.

It depends on what you chase.

Nothing in life comes on trays

There are so many ways

Hold down to every day and phase.

Look, your wishes lay sideways.

“Holidays, weekends, and workdays

Are the pathway

To make every day to headcount,”

Said my caring Aunt.

Life, love, and laughter

Are three powerful words

With capital “L”

Never fail

Every unimportant day.

One Early Morning: Poem

One Early Morning

Breathing anxiously while walking.

Watching the sunrise and feeling

The breeze of air on my skin.

This is about me. –

“How have you been?”

Times like this are quietest,

And safeties.

It is not about time killing.

It is about living and breathing,

One early morning,

By watching the sunrise while walking.

George and Martha: Poem

George and Martha

George and Martha have a quiet moment

For a little pine-tree romance.

Side-by-side perched

Among the pine-tree branches

These two share some affection

Of being flying birds.

George and Martha took a break

Of serious business

Of mutual grooming

And reinforced the close bound

Martha has soft feathers and heart.

George protects their love.

Bird Notes: Poem

 Bird Notes

Some birds acting like a missile,

Fast and stealth.

There is an unparalleled landscape

When bird takes off and fly.

I see the consistent delivery

In the high sky

And wildlife performances,

Tailored for the most water-air environment.

Headwind v. Tailwind: Poem

Headwind v. Tailwind

The Soul is a sail.

The wind is life.

Unfortunately, the wind on the road

Is always a headwind.

The soul loves heart-shaped decorations

That touches women’s form

And the content of men’s norm.

Slow down, breath,

And let your day unfold

Beautifully, when on the road.

The headwind blows directly in front.

It feels like you ride

A bike underwater

But you will succeed.

Obstacles and challenges are not odd.

Businessman knows,

Growth of progress propel

Like a tailwind’s dwell

That will keep you well.

Biscuits and Gravy: Poem

Biscuits and Gravy

A love my biscuit.

I love gravy

And my sweet smiling baby.

Sunday satisfaction

Is a comforting affection.

Sometimes, I like you more

Then pancakes

If you ask me, “What for?”

Personal connection

For morning breakfast together

Is a sentiment of a long-time tradition.

Let us eat biscuits and gravy

For extra charm,

Warmth, and home-cooked love

That never harm!

Under Scorching August Sun: Poem

Under Scorching August Sun

I.

Under scorching August sun

Eagle opened the wings.

The majestic view from my place –

Spectacular fly,

High in the sky,

And he done

Ander scorching August sun.

II.

The whisper of weather

Perhaps said, “Spread every feather.

Let your brilliance resound

And freedom to unbound

When you fly

High in the sky.”

Eagle’s feathers flew wildly

Under scorching August sun.

Powerful bird’s flight is always fun.

The Hummingbird Song: Poem

The Hummingbird Song

I.

Perched hummingbirds

Pass plants and shrubs,

Give out unconditional joy,

O’ Boy!

When hummingbirds leave,

The cold weather kicks.

Small, beautiful creatures

Come in small packages

As extraordinary masterpiece of nature’s

Small things

That has big meanings,

And steers big emotions.

II.

A tiny wingbeat,

A blooming flower,

A quiet morning –

Life’s smallest blessings

Are found in smallest moments.

I treasure the quiet morning,

And the petty things that come along

Like my coffee to warm and belong.

My heart is light,

When the sun is bright,

And the day filled,

With hummingbird’s song.

Delicate feathers, curious expression

Packed in the small bird

With large elephants like brain

That remembers every face and the flower,

Like a small flying computer

With perfect scheduling apps.

III.

For hummingbirds, my garden is a map,

Every flower is a stop,

And every feeder is a common destination.

Every touch of hummingbird

Has an extraordinary touch

That means so much,

Of my appreciation and admiration.

Guarded Heart: Poem

 Guarded Heart

I am walking on Earth

Since my birth.

My heart is locked in a safe ribcage.

It never seen the sun.

It does not mean

That my heart never had fun.

I am caring for my heart in my veins.

My mind protected by skull

And curls of gray hair

Have a party and a flow.

If only all secrets could

Tell and call,

Let things blow naturally!

Let reality be reality!

Suddenly, it started to rain…

Universe takes care

Of things the way it wants and likes.

My heart does not fight.

Trifecta in Florida: Poem

 Trifecta in Florida

I bathe in orange juice

And jet ski to school.

My first car was an alligator,

An ancient predator

From freshwater’s

Wild local environments.

Trifecta in Florida

Belongs to South America.

Trifecta in Florida includes

Tamiami Trial at the south

And natural habitats of the north.

Such a candid force!

Some say, Corrida.

Others tell, Horrida.

Ida says, Mue caliente.

I live and breathe

Follow morning addictive agenda

Of the black tinta coffee

That keeps me satisfied and free.

Hello August! Essay

Hello August!

August is a wonderful month. The days begin to shorten, gently reminding us to appreciate what remains of summer. As someone who has been a fall person more than a summer person, this is when I really begin to enjoy the season. Cooler breezes start to sneak in, beautiful mushrooms begin appearing across the forest floor, and there is a subtle hint that autumn is not too far away.

Here is a pair of Gray Catbirds that have been keeping me entertained this summer. Their second brood has officially fledged, and after spending about a week tucked safely beneath the cover of shrubs and trees while constantly begging their parents for food, the last of the youngsters have now moved on. But…I have a suspicion we may not done yet. The adult pair is still actively defending the nesting area, which makes me wonder if a third brood is about to begin. If so, I would be thrilled to host another generation.

Their nesting story has been fascinating to watch. Their first nest tucked high into the right side of our long hedgerow along the boardwalk. After those young fledged, I carefully trimmed the hedge while making sure to leave the now-empty nest undisturbed. Instead of reusing it, the catbirds built an entirely new nest about fifteen feet to the left in the same hedgerow, where they successfully raised their second family.

What makes this especially meaningful is remembering their first attempt to nest here few years ago. That nest failed after discovered by Common Grackles, and the Catbirds abandoned the area altogether. This year has been a different story. They did not just try again – they persevered. Two successful bloods are already in the books, and if my instinct is right, they may soon be rising a third. Sometimes nature reminds us that perseverance does not always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like simply building another nest and trying again.

Main Line: Poem

Main Line

Do not try to keep life on track! –

Time never comes back.

What do you want I tell you else? –

Health is true wealth.

Happiness is an inside job. –

Do you remember spring love?

Do not please everyone. –

You live for no one.

Success requires consistency. –

I believe in power of effort and regularity.

Peace of mind is valuable. –

Do not disable,

This is the main line.
