Young at Heart: Poem

Young at Heart

When you are young at heart

It speaks like realistic art.

Writing a poem about love

That fits like a glove

Is telling a contemporary story

Of the brain that controls

Every muscle of the body,

Except the heart

That pulsing and rolls

Without words of sorry.

When you are young at heart,

It speaks like contemporary art.

Here comes adulthood

With glowing stars

Blessed with colorful arts

Of two lovely hearts.

Grap the opportunity

That comes with responsibility

Of high hopes and a dream,

One early morning,

With coffee and cream.
