Honey My Bonny: Poem

This is a poem for a 3-year-old boy named Sean.

Honey-my-Bonny

Is a little boy,

And, oh,

Guess what?

He is three years old.

"I'm not little or small,"-

Said he once, and for all!

He is not a bunny,

Not like our honey...

He is a boy,

Such a joy!

Sometimes, he is very funny,

As a real bunny.

Sometimes, he is a little frog,

That likes to hop and hop.

Today, he is an animal king Alex,

And he acts,

As a brave lion.

Today he pretends,

That he rules the animal kingdom

And defends

His zoo's animal fields.

They are made from wax.

They live in a box.

When Sean goes to bed,

They wait in the stable,

Which is on his table.

There is a little cow,

And a big cow.

There is a big duck,

And there is a little duckling,

That is running

After the big cow -

They are looking for fresh milk,

From Sean's big cup.

Then, there is a very big cow,

That likes her grass to chow and to mow.

The very big cow lives in the stable

That is located on the Sean's table.
